The Snowsport Industries of Great Britain (SIGB) is pleased to announce that the industry trade show, SLIDE, will be re-locating from its current venue, Telford, where it has been hosted for many  years, to Exhibition Centre Liverpool where it will take place from 6th – 8th January in 2026.  Liverpool will become the new home for the next three years and the decision to move venue was taken by the SIGB committee following consultation, feedback and an extensive review of proposals from several different exhibition venues around the UK. The move provides an opportunity to refresh the show’s identity and make it more appealing to a wider audience of trade buyers and visitors who are engaged in winter sports and associated markets. At the SIGB AGM & Industry Open Forum on Wednesday 8th January, the winners of the Slide & OTS Winter 2025 Show Awards, which recognise and reward exhibiting brands for technical innovation and excellence, were announced in front of exhibitors, SIGB members and the media. The awards are spread across seven different categories: Accessories, Outdoor Clothing, Outdoor Hardware, Snowsports Clothing, Snowsport Hardware, a ‘Fresh Brand’ category open only to first-time exhibitors/brands at the show, and an ‘Eco Award’ category for brands that show particular environmentally friendly credentials, which is judged by Protect Our Winters UK (POW UK). TIKKA headlamp range updates for Autumn 2025 Hybrid concept – power source can either be our Core rechargeable battery or AAA/LR03 batteries. Easy to switch out and replace day to day or in the future for longer product life as the battery compartment isn’t permanently sealed. Core battery is typically equivalent to 900 standard batteries. Headbands and storage pouches for the TIKKINA, TIKKA, ACTIK, and ARIA will be made with 100% recycled materials. Headbands can be removed for easy washing and are available as spare parts to easily replace worn-out bands.
