  • 8.00am – 8.20am – Scott Nelson, Operations Director, European Outdoor Group (EOG)
The European Outdoor Group adopts the UNFCCC’s Race To Zero initiative

Scott Nelson

The most frequently asked questions we receive at the EOG are around what the industry is doing about climate.
Where do we start? Which initiatives should the trade adopt, and which are credible and aligned with the Paris
accord? Where is the rest of the trade moving and with which partners? To answer these and many other concerns,
the EOG has decided to align its climate endeavours with the UNFCCC’s Race To Zero. Join us in this session to learn
more and about how this will apply to your organisation.

  • 8.20am – 8.40am – Charles Ross, Performance Sportswear Design, RCA
All Change! The Waterproof Jacket & the Fleece
Both these iconic garments in the Snowsports & Outdoor Industries are undergoing massive change because the
materials they use are affected by incoming legislation. This will be a dummies guide to the alternative options
available: suitable for both brand design teams & retail staff. The subject is more complex than most appreciate,
but (hopefully) a smooth transaction will happen so that the gear user does not get unsettled.

  • 8.40am – 8.50am – Dominic Winter, Head of Programmes, Protect Our Winters
    Send it for Climate

Dom Winter

How you can Send It For Climate, influence the next government on climate, and get support on your operations
