Slide, the wintersport tradeshow taking place at the Telford International Centre from 19-21 January 2016, run by SIGB (Snowsport Industries of GB) has had a strong start, with sales of stands on a par with last year, which represented a big expansion from the previous several years.
Lesley Beck, show organiser reflected, ‘For many specialist suppliers, Slide is a must-attend show, so they book as soon as possible to ensure they have the right stand space. With two and a half months to go, it’s realistic to anticipate that Slide will sell out again this year.’
As well as many regular exhibitors, there are a number of new ones and some returning to the show after an absence. Newcomers include Melon Optics, Big Balls Collective, Blitz Eyewear, Sunnycam and K-nit, while exhibitors returning after an absence include Man O’Leisure, Dirty Dog and Oakley.
The biggest increase in stand size from the last show is Poc who have more than doubled the size of their previous stand, but Columbia, The Riders Lounge, Buff, CMP, K2 and Lyon Equipment have all booked additional space to showcase their brands more effectively.
